To qualify for a team place in 2024, All team members will be required to provide proof of the necessary permit for each event (which may include your Irish firearms permit). When completing the team acceptance form you will be required to show a copy of your firearms permit for the country you are attending.

Selection Procedure for National Skeet 2024 Season

All Categories

  1. Five scores shot from a minimum of two grounds from 25th June 2023 to 14th July 2024,  of which a maximum of two non-ICTSA scores can be included.
  2. Plus one out of three majors below:
  • Irish Grand Prix Esker 31st Mar
  • Irish Open Esker 12th May
  • Irish Close Mulroy 14th July

Note - Scores achieved in the above majors but not counted as the major score (in other words the second and third best major scores) , can be included in the best 5 scores (point 1 above).

Total 600 Targets

Notes:

  1. Where a tie occurs for Team selection, unless otherwise stated the next best result of those tied which is NOT being used for Team selection purposes will be compared and the final placing decided. If a tie still occurs, the 2nd best such result shall be compared and so on until the tie is resolved.

* Due to Covid 19 and shoots been cancelled, no scores will count during the Lockdown period as Government guidelines must be followed.
