ICTSA FITASC Sporting Selection Procedures 2021

General Note :

All members should familiarise themselves with the rules and regulations which apply to Ireland Team members.

Any queries regarding leader boards should be sent to statistical@ictsa.ie

Any members intending to travel by air should please note that not all flights booked through Aer Lingus.com are in fact operated by the company and the actual carrier in some cases, do not carry firearms.

To qualify for a team place in 2021, ALL team members will be required to provide proof of the necessary permit for each event. When completing the team acceptance form you will be required to show a copy of your firearms permit for the country you are attending.

NO PERMIT NO TEAM PLACE.

FITASC Sporting 54th European Championships:

Foxlodge, Moscow, Russia on 3rd June to 6th June 2021

All teams: Lowest three scores from any ICTSA event from the 1st September 2019 up to and including the 10th April 2021.

One lowest point score from a none ICTSA event can count. Please complete the “Declaration of Score” form, which can be downloaded from the ICTSA website and return to statistical@ictsa.ie as soon as possible after the event.

No more than two results to count from any club or venue or unique combination of same.

Points are calculated from the High Gun of the event, with one point being incurred for every target less than the overall winning score. Selection will be decided based upon the amount of points scored.

The FITASC Task Group will adjudicate and have final say on any ambiguity with regard to an events qualification status in relation to club/venue/combination, etc.

Team members are responsible for their own individual entry and potential Team members must book their entries on www.fitasc.com as per FITASC requirements to be eligible for team places. 

Note: Where a tie occurs for Team selection, unless otherwise stated the next best result of those tied which is NOT being used for Team selection purposes will be compared and the final placing decided. If a tie still occurs, the 2nd best such result shall be compared and so on until the tie is resolved.

FITASC Sporting 43rd World Championships:

 Vertes State Forestry, Hungary on 15th July to 18th July 2021

All teams: Lowest four scores from any ICTSA event from the 1st September 2019 up to and including the 30th May 2021

One lowest point score from a none ICTSA event can count. Please complete the “Declaration of Score” form, which can be downloaded from the ICTSA website and return to statistical@ictsa.ie as soon as possible after the event.
